Passing Fronts

Catching the tail end of a passing front finally put up some offshore winds to clean up a fun swell the other day. I choose to go after the occasional shoulder amid the majority of close outs over moving up the road to a slightly better wave that was swamped with at least 100 angry people trying to battle it out. One good sized set did put its mark on the new fish though wraping the leash around the tail and making a good sized cut.

Welcome to RI

This seems to be typical RI. The ocasional decent swell, offshore wind and people dropping in on you. Pic I took in Matunuck from one of the hurricanes earlier this Fall.

Picture I took a few years ago on a trip to Saint Kitts. Very fun wave, better rights than this left but I liked the feel of the picture.
